Children's Missions Groups

We now have two children's mission groups for both girls and boys from age 3 through sixth grade. Through studying missions, children begin to realize that missions is possible as they learn how missionaries fulfill their call. They also begin to realize that they can make a difference in their world as they respond to the needs that are around them.

  • Mission Friends - This group is for boys and girls ages 3 to 5. Rhonda Pruitt is the teacher.
  • Children in Action - This group is for boys and girls in grades 1 through 6. Mary Hill Land is the teacher.
  • Both groups meet on Wednesdays at 6:30pm.

    2018 Annie Armstrong Easter Offering

The theme of this year's offering is "Here & Now". This offering is the primary way we support mission efforts in North America. 100% of gifts are used to support Southern Baptist missionaries serving across the United States, Canada, and their territories. The offering goes to train, resource, and send the 5,262 missionaries involved in church planning and compassion ministries. Spray Baptist's goal is $3,000. Envelopes are in the pews and in your numbered envelope boxes. To learn more, visit anniearmstrong.com and the North American Mission Board site.

Food Roundup for Baptist Children's Homes

Boys and girls living at Baptist Children's Homes see God's love through you when you help collect $400,000 in food, supplies, and gift cards for the Food Roundup. You help provide approximately 700,000 meals and snacks - enough for an entire year - to children who come to the homes that have gone without eating regularly. In April, we will provide a list of needed items in the bulletin. Donations need to be in the church by Wednesday, April 18. For more information, visit: the Baptist Children's Home page on the Food Roundup. A full listing is available to print from the Baptist Children's Homes website.
