The gospel of Jesus Christ is the mission. The motivation to spread that gospel is the worship of God. We here at Spray want the whole world to know who Jesus is and his plan of salvation. 

We have several ways we give to missions, work on local mission projects, and commission missionaries out to the full-time mission field. Check out the links below and some of our current mission projects. 

Women's Missionary Union

Our very own ministry here at the church that meets regularly to promote the propagation of the gospel and brainstorm creative ways to raise money for missions. 

North American Mission Board

This is the national arm of the Southern Baptist Convention that leads the charge in planting churches and starting permanent outreaches all across North America.  We raise support for NAMB through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. 

International Mission Board

The world needs Jesus and there are millions who have yet to even hear the name of Jesus. The IMB has commissioned over 3,500 missionaries across 155 countries. We support the IMB through our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.  

MOTHER'S DAY OFFERING

This is a benevolent ministry of North Carolina Baptists to assist patients in serious financial need at North Carolina Baptist Hospital pay their hospital bills in the name of Jesus Christ.

Recipients of the Mother’s Day Offering have limited income and “fall between the cracks” of assistance. They have too much to qualify for Medicaid or full charity care – but not enough to pay their hospital bills.

Ongoing Ministry:

Operation Christmas Child

We are collecting for Operation Christmas Child throughout the year. There is a donation box in the hallway outside the sanctuary.  Our May collection items are: small dolls, small cars, yo-yo's, soccer balls with pumps.
